Director of Governance and Compliance
Ed serves as Stream Energy’s Director of Governance and Compliance and is responsible for monitoring the internal control environment of the firm, evaluating enterprise risk, and reporting to the Board of Directors regarding Stream Energy’s governance activities. Furthermore, Ed provides leadership in areas of business process development with a focus on best practices, operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
Prior to joining Stream Energy, Ed spent his professional career in both the public accounting and risk assurance consulting sector. Most recently, he was the Internal Controls/Sarbanes Oxley practice lead for Montgomery Coscia Greilich LLP. He is also a PricewaterhouseCoopers and Protiviti alumnus.
Ed earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Florida State University and a Masters of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame: with it being only partially true that such academic choices were driven by his lifelong fascination with their football teams. He is an active member of the Dallas Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, currently serving upon its Programs Committee, and has been married to his wife Kimberly since 2009.
