Director – New Market Implementation

A member of the Stream Energy team since mid-2005, Greg Martin now functions as the firm’s Director of New Market Implementation, in which capacity he oversees the chief coordinator of Stream Energy’s multi-state expansion program commenced during late 2009.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Greg served until 2010 as the firm’s Director of Customer Loyalty & Commercial Sales, where he was responsible for its Commercial Business Sales unit as well as its Customer Loyalty & Retention efforts. Greg initially entered the Stream Energy landscape as a Manager of Special Projects, with a focus on corporate and transactional due diligence matters, strategy development and technology implementations. Immediately prior to joining Stream Energy, Greg was employed as a Summer Associate at Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP, a corporate securities law firm that deals in venture capital-backed debt and equity financings of start-up and early stage companies.

Greg received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame (where he was a member of the men’s soccer program as well as one of a handful of individuals who have served as a three-year captain for a intercollegiate sport at that institution). Greg studied briefly as a student at the St. Louis University School of Law and has since regularly lectured in regard to issues related to customer loyalty, service and retention efforts at various industry conferences and other associations. Greg also wants everyone to know that his uncommonly-high natural levels of effervescent enthusiasm are a longstanding natural trait and not somehow or another….well…chemically induced.
