Renée Hornbaker

Chief Financial Officer

Renée Hornbaker joined the Stream Energy family in late 2011 in the role of Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity, Renée directly oversees the firm’s finance, accounting, budgeting and planning functions but further has broad purview over the firm’s various operational functions.

Prior to joining Stream Energy, Ms. Hornbaker served as Chief Financial Officer of Shared Technologies Inc., a Dallas-based telecommunications firm specializing in unified communications, voice and data technologies, contact center, network security and traditional telephony. Prior thereto, Renée had also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Flowserve Corporation (a global manufacturer of pumps, valves, seals and related components to process industries) and had further held leadership positions with noted commercial enterprises such as Compucom Systems, Phelps Dodge and Circle K Corporation. She began her finance career with Deloitte, where she eventually held the post of Senior Manager of Audit Practice in its Chicago office.

Renée has served since 2003 on the Board of Eastman Chemical Company, a publicly-traded global chemical company and chairs its audit committee. Moreover, her many professional accomplishments have led to her involvements in various leadership positions, including the past president and on the board of the Dallas chapter of Financial Executives International, current president and on the board of the North Texas chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors, Executive Committee member of the Dallas chapter of Women Corporate Directors, and advisory board member for the CFO Roundtable. In 2010, she was designated a finalist for the Dallas CFO of the Year Award as determined by the Dallas Business Journal.

Renée received both a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters in Business Administration from Indiana University. Married with two children, she is also a Certified Public Accountant.
